Thereafter, there is a delivery charge of £12.50 plus VAT.

How many people does a celebration cheese cake serve?
The great thing about a celebration cheese cake is that they are great as a standalone catering option for an informal event such as a milestone birthday where you want guests to mingle, or as a showcase course at the end of a formal meal such as at a wedding. We can build celebration cheese cakes to serve any number of people, regardless of how many guests you are inviting, we can build cakes with the appropriate number of tiers and cheeses for everyone to enjoy. Whether it’s a small gathering of 20 guests or a wedding for 200, we can create something amazing. If you require extra cheeses to give your guests even more cheese per person, we can tailor our quote to suit your requirements.
How much do celebration cheese cakes cost?
Prices begin at £50 for our smallest cake (serves 10 to 15 guests), with a larger cake for 150 guests retailing at £350. Prices listed are ‘starting from’. Additional cheeses, fruit and flowers, and cake tier separators are charged separately. The Cheese Wheel also offers a full choice of crackers and other delicious accompaniments for which we charge separately. Bespoke cheese cakes can also be created – please ask for prices and full details.
How large a celebration cheese cake should I order?
As a rough guide we suggest a portion size of 80g per person if the celebration cake is one course as part of a larger meal and 120g per person if it is a standalone catering offer. We can discuss numbers and quantities with you in more detail and whether ‘child-friendly’ cheeses or cheeses suitable for vegetarians should be included in your cake. Additional cheeses can be purchased if you want to ensure every guest has a broad choice of the cheeses included in the cake.
How will the celebration cheese cake be delivered?
We are happy to work with you directly or with your caterers depending on the type of event you are hosting and its location. Where possible we recommend delivering your celebration cheese cake to you (your caterers) two days prior to your event. We will provide instructions about storage (refrigeration) and assembly of your cake on the day. You/Your caterers will be responsible for the cake on the day.

The small print
A 50% deposit will be taken at the time you place your order. Cancellations can only be made within the statutory fourteen days after placing your order. After fourteen days, deposits are non-refundable. Balances must be paid in full six weeks before the day of the event. Orders placed up to six weeks before the day of the event must be paid in full. Cancellations within fourteen days will incur a 50% administrative charge.
